Mirri has announced that its Mirri Pak for HP Indigo has been certified by Hewlett-Packard for use on Indigo 5000 and 7000 series cut sheet machines with white ink capability, thus enabling printers owning these machines to use the Color-Logic process.
Mark Geeves, Color-Logic director of Sales and Marketing, said: ‘The certification and widespread availability of the Mirri line of metalised substrates make the Color-Logic process available to the many Indigo users with cut sheet machines and white ink capability. We are pleased to work with Mirri in its roll out, and have extensively tested the Mirri Pak material for compatibility with the Color-Logic process.’
Color-Logic develops colour communication systems and software tool sets for a variety of special effect printing applications. The decorative effects utilise the existing workflows of printers and designers, yielding dynamic results without the use of special equipment.
