Enfocus has released Connect 11.2, a free product line upgrade bringing full compatibility with OS X Mavericks, Apple’s recently released operating system.
Connect allows the creation of print-ready, PDFs by design and production professionals and can automatically deliver completed jobs to printers.
The update makes the entire Connect Family; Connect You, Connect Send and Connect All, compatible with the latest mainstream operating systems, including OS X 10.9 Mavericks, Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2. Along with support for the new OS’s, the company has also updated its supporting plug-ins for Adobe Creative Suite and Creative Cloud products.
The software aims to help solve the problem of poor quality PDFs. With some designers unable to adjust settings to create high quality PDFs, there can be delays in production. Many printers who receive PDFs are spending too much time and resources identifying and fixing the PDF problems.
To solve these problems the software comes with three solutions designed to assist users in different aspects of the production process. Connect You is for individual users. Connect All and Connect Send were both developed for companies that need to collaborate with many internal and external users.
