Techkon USA and Wikoff Color Corporation have announced a strategic partnership aimed at improving colour measurement, quality control and process consistency for printers, converters and brand owners.
Under the agreement, Wikoff will use Techkon’s colour measurement instruments and software to support production quality control, ink toning and colour matching. The partnership will also see Wikoff offer Techkon’s colour measurement hardware and software, alongside implementation support and application expertise, to its customers.
The companies say the collaboration is intended to help printers and converters achieve faster colour approvals, reduce waste, improve pressroom efficiency and maintain consistent brand colours throughout production.

According to the companies, the partnership is designed to deliver faster and more accurate ink toning, improve colour communication throughout print workflows, strengthen process control, reduce waste and help customers meet demanding brand colour specifications.
Techkon USA supplies colour measurement instruments and software for the printing, packaging, ink and graphic arts sectors, while Wikoff manufactures inks, coatings and colour technologies for the global print industry.
