Nuneaton Signs has expanded its production capabilities with the installation of a third VeloBlade digital cutting system, supplied and installed by Vivid.
The new equipment forms part of the company’s ongoing investment in its manufacturing operations and is intended to increase in-house production capacity while supporting a more streamlined finishing process. The machine is being used to produce a variety of printed signage products, including safety signs, fire assembly point boards and workplace graphics.
According to the company, the additional VeloBlade will help improve production efficiency by increasing finishing capacity and providing greater flexibility in meeting customer requirements. The investment is also expected to support faster turnaround times and allow more work to be completed internally.
Nuneaton Signs, which has operated for more than 40 years, provides employment and training opportunities for people with disabilities and has developed into a major UK signage manufacturer. The business operates as a social enterprise, reinvesting its profits into its social and commercial objectives.
Vivid, which supplied and installed the system, said the latest installation will help support Nuneaton Signs as it continues to develop its production capabilities and respond to customer demand.
