The move brings together the company’s print, creative production, equipment and operational teams in a single location as part of a wider investment programme aimed at improving efficiency, expanding in-house print capabilities and supporting faster campaign delivery.

According to the company, centralising operations has created a more connected working environment, enabling creative production, print and operational teams to work more closely from concept development through to campaign rollout.

Alongside the consolidation, Leap has invested in new print technology to replace older machinery that had reached the end of its working life. The company said the upgraded equipment will enable it to deliver a broader range of specialist print services in-house, including finishing, embellishment, foiling and digital die-cutting.

Neil Essam, head of operations at Leap, said: “Campaign delivery has changed significantly over the past few years. Timelines are shorter, production demands move faster and clients need partners who can respond quickly when priorities shift. Bringing our print operations together into one environment allows us to simplify workflows, improve collaboration between teams and create a more connected and cost-effective process for clients.”

Leap said consolidating operations into one site has improved communication between departments and reduced the complexity associated with managing teams and equipment across multiple locations.

The business also expects the move to create efficiencies for customers by increasing the range of services delivered internally, reducing reliance on external suppliers and improving turnaround times for print projects.

The investment forms part of a wider focus on operational efficiency and sustainability. Leap said the new machinery is significantly more energy efficient than the equipment it replaces, helping to reduce electricity consumption across the print operation.

Mr Essam added: “This move was about creating an operational setup that reflects the needs of our clients and the pace modern marketing demands. We wanted a setup that gives our teams closer access to each other, improves the way work moves through production and strengthens the specialist support we can offer clients.”

The Clerkenwell hub is now fully operational and supports Leap’s creative production, print and marketing execution services.
