Mimaki has launched the TxF300-75Plus, an updated version of its direct-to-film (DTF) printer, designed to support longer, uninterrupted production runs. The new model builds on the existing TxF300-75, with a particular focus on improving ink handling and reducing manual intervention during operation.
A key update is the expansion of the system’s white ink capacity. The TxF300-75Plus incorporates four additional white ink cartridge slots alongside Mimaki’s Uninterrupted Ink Supply System (UISS), enabling continuous printing for up to 8–9 hours. The system automatically switches between cartridges when one becomes empty, allowing production to continue without stopping. Operators can also replace cartridges during printing, helping to maintain workflow continuity in high-volume or overnight production environments.
The UISS is designed to maintain consistent ink flow throughout extended runs, supporting stable output while reducing the need for frequent manual cartridge changes. According to Mimaki, this is particularly relevant for businesses running longer print jobs or looking to optimise unattended production.
In the UK and Ireland, Mimaki is distributed exclusively by Hybrid Services. The company’s sales director, Andy Gregory, said: “The Mimaki TxF300-75 already provides industry-leading white opacity, a crucial factor in achieving vibrant DTF prints. The new TxF300-75Plus builds on this performance while making production simpler and enabling longer print runs.”
The new model also retains several of Mimaki’s existing technologies, including an ink circulation system to prevent sedimentation and support consistent ink supply during extended operation. Monitoring and remote management tools such as PICT and Mimaki Remote Access (MRA) are also included, enabling operators to oversee production and manage workflows more effectively.
Arjen Evertse, director sales at Mimaki Europe, added: “With the TxF300-75Plus, we are taking another step in the evolution of our DTF printing portfolio, delivering enhanced performance where it matters most to our customers. By strengthening its ink capabilities and enabling longer, uninterrupted production, we are helping print providers improve efficiency, reduce operational complexity and confidently scale their DTF applications.”
The TxF300-75Plus is now available across the EMEA region.
