Integrity Communications Group has installed a Canon varioPRINT iX3200 digital inkjet press as part of efforts to expand capacity and modernise its production operations.

The move builds on an existing partnership between the companies, which includes Canon devices such as the VarioPrint i300, ColorStream 6700 and imagePRESS V700 across Integrity’s UK sites.

The new press forms part of Integrity’s wider strategy to scale its print fleet while improving efficiency and maintaining consistent performance in high-volume production. The company said the investment is intended to support increased throughput, improved print quality and greater flexibility across a wider range of media.

Since adopting Canon inkjet technology in 2016, the company has expanded production capacity to maintain continuous weekday operations, including peak periods in February and September. These peaks are driven largely by social housing providers issuing regulated communications such as rent review and service charge notices, which must be delivered within legally mandated deadlines. Integrity said the addition of the varioPRINT iX3200 is expected to further strengthen its ability to meet these demands while supporting growth into areas such as direct mail, fundraising and travel-related communications.

The press also introduces remote diagnostic capabilities designed to identify potential technical issues before they disrupt production. Canon’s professional services and field service teams are overseeing the installation and integration with Integrity’s existing IT infrastructure, including its secure data centres and encrypted workflows.

Andrew Law, sales and marketing director at Integrity Communications Group, said: “Canon’s technology has played a crucial role in transforming our print operations over the last five years. The reliability of the equipment has been outstanding, giving us complete confidence during our busy periods and allowing us to deliver consistent results for our customers. The varioPRINT iX3200 is an exciting next step for us – enabling us to take efficiency to the next level while also opening up opportunities for us to diversify our offering.”

Stuart Rising, head of graphic arts at Canon UK and Ireland, said: “Integrity Communications Group has built an impressive reputation by combining operational excellence with a clear vision for future growth. We are proud to continue supporting their journey with the varioPRINT iX3200, which will deliver new levels of speed, quality and flexibility across their operations. This investment reflects the strength of our partnership and the shared ambition to explore new opportunities and expand into high-value print markets.”

Integrity said it may consider adding a second iX-series press later in 2026 if growth continues as expected.
