Prima Printing, an Australian company which operates across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea and Japan, has invested in a Kornit Atlas to allow it to offer sustainable, industrial-scale, on-demand DTG production.

Part of the District Photo and Harrier group of companies, Prima Printing will also be implementing the Custom Gateway workflow software solution. The business already manufactures more than 450 difference products using dye sublimation technology, including wall art, home décor, photobooks, cards, calendars and photographs.

Prima says that it is looking to expand its market share by offering global brands ‘unsurpassed value, quality, and consistency’ which it says makes Kornit’s single-step DTG technology a ‘natural fit.’ The Atlas itself will be used primarily to produce t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, children’s and infants’ apparel, workwear, aprons and bags.

‘Whether it’s customer service, product quality, or process transparency, we are hyper-focused on what helps our clients win,’ said Amnon Judah, general manager at Prima Printing. ‘Many of our clients have approached us looking for a DTG partner with the scale and IT capabilities to support their expansion, and Kornit has demonstrated both the production capability and the practical expertise to be the strategic partner we need to accelerate our success, and for our clients to grow.’

Ilan Elad, Kornit Asia and Pacific president, added ‘As brands, producers, and fulfillers across all regions continue to discover, Kornit Digital provides not merely efficient, eco-friendly production on demand, but an end-to-end platform, from point of sale to shipment of finished goods, for making their businesses more cost-effective, more accountable, more resilient, more versatile.’
