Optimum Signs of Preston, Lancashire has become the first UK company to place an order for V46 of PrintIQ’s eponymous MIS, placing the order on the first day of the Sign & Digital UK show in Birmingham in March.

Optimum has been established for 15 years, and runs three manufacturing units in Lancashire, delivering projects nationwide for a variety of UK brands. The company delivers branding solutions in four key areas: signage, interiors, alfresco and digital, using its in-house capability to manage projects from design concept to installation and aftercare.

Managing director Matthew Austin said, ‘We have been in discussion with PrintIQ for several months now and always look to innovate within the company by using the best technology available.

‘The release of V46 along with the show proved perfect timing for us to confirm the order and start to plan ahead. We deal with some major brands, and we see this system as providing more visibility and communication for them as well as automating our workflow internally.’

PrintIQ’s global sales director Paul Bromley commented, ‘Optimum have been a great company to deal with during the sales cycle and have always asked intelligent and engaging questions that have challenged us but also allowed us to understand their business model today, and for the future. The system is a really good fit for them and allows for development as the business expands. Hopefully all of our recent announcements have shown customers our commitment to product development.’
