Drytac has appointed Daniel Darias as its new technical engineer with immediate effect.

Based at the company’s specialist factory facility in North America, Mr Darias’ new role is to assist the business with technical sales support and product management. He will also take a lead role in all aspects of quality assurance including data sheets, external audits and quality implementation.

The mechanical engineering graduate brings a wealth of experience and knowledge, having previously worked in a quality assurance position within the tapes and adhesives sector. In this role, he implemented various new systems to improve production and workflow across the business.

Mr Darias, who also worked as an operations supervisor for a specialist marine transport company in his native Venezuela, said, ‘I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to join the group as technical engineer. Drytac is the leading brand in self-adhesive materials, and I look forward to working with the team.’
