Specialist systems distributor ArtSystems has promoted Tom Goddard and Robert Durrant to new senior roles within the business, respectively becoming supplies manager and external media account manager.

The Nottingham-based company, established in 1986, has a turnover exceeding £40million, employs over 70 people and recently became a Vanguard Digital Printing Systems distributor.

The company serves the design, manufacturing, graphics, sign and display markets with imaging and printing hardware to manufacturers such as Canon, Colortrac, Epson, HP, Keencut, MakerBot, Onyx, Shining3D, SiHL, Summa, Neschen and Xativa.

Mr Goddard has been at ArtSystems for eight years and will now take over the day-to-day management of the internal supplies team. As supplies manager, he will be well-placed to feed up-to-date market trends and intelligence into the supplies team to help ArtSystems capitalise on opportunities.

Marketing manager John Draycott said, ‘This is a very positive development that will improve communication and allow us to be much more proactive. It is incredibly gratifying for me to have worked with Tom over the years and watch his career develop.’

Mr Durrant is also a long-serving member of the ArtSystems team, having been with the business since it took over the UK distribution of Neschen Supplies almost 10 years ago. His duty was to initially work with end users to sell the Neschen brand and, over time, the role has extended to also cover resellers.

Mr Draycott added, ‘Robert has clearly demonstrated the ability to take on new responsibility and his passion and enthusiasm for the business never dwindles. He is the ideal person to use his skills and experience to lead and showcase the whole range of media that we have.’
