Screen is introducing two new representative user bodies, intended to facilitate the connection between the company and its customers.

To debut in the US, the executive customer council (ECC) and Screen user group are being established to facilitate the connection between Screen Americas, the company’s customers, and Screen GA in Japan.

The ECC membership includes some of Screen’s largest and longest-standing customers in North America, with Dave Johannes, executive vice president, strategic initiatives at Moore Direct, to serve as the first ECC president. The first in-person ECC meeting is scheduled for the second half of August in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The next session will follow at Printing United Expo, taking place in Las Vegas this October.

Screen is to use Printing United User Experience (UX) to launch ECC and the user group. Printing United UX is a customisable, fully-planned white glove meeting service. Printing United UX has been created to provide a customised setting for any sized industry OEM, group and/or association, ‘to reconnect and restart long-awaited conversations, training, business, and future planning.’

Frank Tueckmantel, executive vice president, business development at Napco Media, commented, ‘Our partnership allows the team at Screen to fully focus on the content and their esteemed guests, while the UX team addresses all the event planning details needed to allow attendees to enjoy a flawless meeting experience.’

Mark Schlimme, vice president of marketing for at Screen Americas, ‘[We] immediately saw the value in tapping into the Printing United UX platform as a premier venue where we can highlight some of our latest developments with our new Screen ECC and our user group.

‘During our fully supported event at Printing United, Screen and our ECC will further share information about our joint mission to facilitate the connection between Screen Americas, our customers, and Screen GA in Japan. The ECC will further serve as the foundation and directing force to provide value for the Screen user group.

‘Screen will facilitate and provide content for the user group, as we see tremendous value for our customers in the strong Screen customer community. This special meeting will bring together the shared commitment of Screen and our ECC to provide value for everyone.’

Screen is looking to introduce the ECC model through its subsidiary in Europe and others around the world in the future.
