Meteor Inkjet has expanded its office, laboratory and manufacturing space in order to keep up with ‘strong’ market demand for its products and services.

The company, which was acquired by Global Graphics back in 2016, is headquartered in Cambridgeshire, England. Meteor said that the additional space, which adjoins its existing premises, ‘will allow it to boost research, manufacturing, quality and customer support efforts while accommodating its growing workforce.’

Managing director Clive Ayling commented on the expansion, ‘Meteor’s new space provides a comfortable environment for our growing team as well as offering purpose-built facilities to improve our productivity and pave the way for future innovation. This expansion is an important milestone for Meteor and we were pleased to celebrate with our employees as well as with honoured guests from the Global Graphics Group of companies.’

Guido van der Schueren, Global Graphics’ chairman of the board, and CEO Mike Rottenborn officially opened the new facility at a ribbon cutting ceremony on 2 September 2021.
