The UK Graphic Awards has extended its deadline by two weeks to 16 July after a ‘last minute surge’ in entries and enquiries. The event itself will take place on 14 September, organised by Fespa UK and workflow software provider Vism, who say they are ‘planning a spectacular day and evening.’

The awards are free to enter and open to all members of the UK’s wide-format print industry. The gala dinner includes a drinks reception, three course dinner, live music and dancing, will follow on from Thrive in Print, the interactive daytime conference.

‘This event is about bringing the industry back together and celebrating its creativity, so we wanted to allow as many people as possible to get involved,’ said Dan Tyler, whose company, software provider Vism, is organising the event alongside industry association Fespa UK. ‘We’ve seen some stunning projects and very inspirational initiatives being entered, and we can’t wait to celebrate these together and look forward to more positive and vibrant times.’
