Paragon Customer Communications (PCC) has opted to transfer a portion of its annual Apprenticeship Levy funds to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the UK, and is encouraging eligible companies to apply to access the funds.

As part of its Ignite apprenticeship scheme, PCC has made the funds available to provide recruitment opportunities to businesses that otherwise may not have been able to benefit from the Government-backed levy.

The fund will see money distributed to SME businesses to pay for apprenticeship training and assessments for new and existing staff. PCC is encouraging companies who meet the criteria outlined by the Government are urged to get in contact with and apply.

‘Paragon Customer Communications is a people-led organisation,’ explained Lee Bennett, PCC’s learning and development business partner. ‘It’s not just about taking care of our employees across every area of our business, but also supporting our partners and the wider SME community to create a progressive, supportive and healthy working environment for the next generation of professionals in a number of industries.’

PCC’s Ignite scheme, announced earlier this year, is designed to help talented individuals forge a career in the communications industry. It focuses on developing key skills in print, digital marketing, warehouse management, litho print, print finishing and engineering.
