Joanne Hindley has been made managing director of Peter Scott Printers after 26 years with the company. Ms Hindley, who started out as an office junior, was promoted in a surprise ceremony attended by local MP Andrew Stephenson.

During her time with the Burnley-based company Ms Hindley has overseen several major projects, including the move to new premises in April 2020. The relocation, which was planned pre-pandemic, involved moving 36 tonne printing presses and equipment.

‘I’m absolutely delighted and honoured to be given this role,’ the new managing director commented. ‘I’m very proud to be working with such a wonderfully supportive team.’

Andrew Stephenson, MP for Pendle, added, ‘I was delighted to visit Peter Scott Printers following their successful move, and to congratulate Joanne on her much deserved promotion.’
