Konica Minolta has added the AccurioPrint C750i, a 70ppm SRA3 press that comes with two Rip/workflow options aimed at general commercial printers and inplant/CRD operations.

For general graphic arts use the AccurioPrint C750i is supplied with an EFI Fiery controller for accurate colour management, while the C750i Flux model is targeted at CRDs in corporate, local authority, law, healthcare education and membership organisation settings and comes with AccurioPro Flux Essential software and a Konica Minolta print controller that ties closely into the capabilities of the print engine.

The successor to the AccurioPrint C759, the C750i also offers single-pass document scanning at up to 280 images per minutes, plus a media sensor to detect stock weight within its working range of 52 to 300gsm. Rated speed is 70ppm or 75ppm in mono. Finishing options include a tri-fold function and booklet makers capable of handling up to 20-page publications.

Both variants integrate with Konica Minolta’s cloud-based workflow software for job management and automation that the company says cuts turnaround times, and minimises errors and paper waste. The user interface displayed on the presses’ 10.1in control panel is customisable to suit different operators, while security options include ID card reading capability.

Andre Statkus, production manager, Production Printing, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe, commented, ‘Simple operability and high quality performance are preconditions in today‚Äôs fast-paced enterprises for achieving maximum efficiency and completing all office work quickly and without fuss. At the same time, the full integration with cloud services should provide the right processes at the right time to build more convenient workflows. The AccurioPrint C750i achieves all this and more, as well as being equipped with the latest security technology. In our well-established partnership approach, we work closely with our customers to rethink technology with advanced digital connectivity to help them grow their business profitably with our print solutions providing outstanding print stability and durability.’

Both variants of the C750i are available this month.
