Lintec Europe has introduced PrintGrip PE-5000ZW, a hard wearing digitally printable floor graphic with a grit coating that is suitable for use without lamination in areas that are likely to get wet, such as public entranceways to shops, railway stations, public buildings or workplaces.

Printable with eco-solvent, UV-cured or Latex inks, the PrintGrip material offers high adhesion to most exterior paved surfaces, including concrete, stone and tarmac. It achieves an R12 rating on the slip resistance scale, where R9 is the lowest and R13 the highest. Applications in social distancing signage are suggested.

Andy Voss, managing director, Lintec Europe, commented: ‘With regulations around social distancing constantly being reviewed, and businesses keen to return as quickly as possible to normal operations, the demand for floor graphics is higher than ever. It is essential that organisations do not overlook the potential slip hazards surrounding floor graphics when carrying out risk assessments. Failure to do so can result in injuries to the public and the possibility of legal claims. With the launch of PrintGrip, we are pleased to offer an innovative, cost-effective solution to assure compliance with social distancing regulations, while also minimising the risk of injury.’
