Neschen has added an opaque white carrier film to its range of self-adhesive, coated media. Gudy 808 PP is described as ‘a solution that completely preserves the colour brilliance of prints on dark board materials and is suited for applications on already used boards.’

The German company also says its new film, which has a maximum width of 160cm, ‘enables high-quality cold lamination of digital or analogue prints on particularly dark board materials, aluminium or other common boards.’

Intended principally for use by galleries, artists and signmakers, Gudy 808 PP is also suitable for producing self-adhesive boards where the substrate should not show through, for smooth black and white prints on inkjet papers as well as for colour prints on paper or film-based materials.

The film also features a double-side coated glassine liner with an easy-release silicone. Neschen say its ‘versatility and easy handling make it a high quality mounting solution for numerous markets, from signage applications to fine art print services.’
