Over the past few weeks many print companies across the country have devoted their time and energy into manufacturing PPE for healthcare workers battling the Coronavirus outbreak.

However many have reported difficulties in getting hold of the supplies needed to manufacture essential equipment including masks, visors and protective shields.

That has seen other companies doing their part in offering what supplies they can, which is exactly what Antalis has done, providing Foamalite, a clear recycled PET and hook and loop systems for Middlesex-based Data Reprographics.

The initial request came from creative designer and prop maker Faye McCallum. A family member asked Ms McCallum if she might be able to use her skills to make face masks.

After the first batch was delivered, requests for more masks followed. So, now with production support from her family, friends and the Data Reprographics team Ms McCallum has been able to provide 2000 masks for hospitals across north and west London.

A JustGiving page has been set up to help Ms McCallum fund further production.
