Following its appointment as an authorised UK and Ireland distributor for finishing solutions company Kala, Graphtec GB is now stocking and supplying the XYII 1650 automatic trimming machine.
The trimmer will supplement and support the range of digital cutters developed by Graphtec for a variety of industries, including the sign and graphics, digital printing, print wear and promotional products sectors.
The Kala XYII 1650 has dimensions of 262 x 120 x 73cm, a working width capability of 165cm, operating speeds of up to 18m/min and an LCD touchscreen control panel.
The trimmer comes supplied with the aluminium feeding shaft used on all Kala laminating systems, therefore providing the same levels of integration. It is also able to handle materials including paper, vinyl, laminates, thermal films and banners, up to a maximum thickness of one millimetre.
