HP has announced that worldwide sales of its Indigo 12000 HD B2 sheet-fed liquid toner press have recently topped 100, with applications predominantly focused around high quality photographic reproduction being a key driver.

The HD option doubles the print resolution and is claimed by HP to offer better-than-litho print quality. It has been adopted in more than 750 B2 Indigo models, including the 10000 and 12000 as well as the 12000HD introduced last year.

Indigo 12000 HD users include East Sussex-based Pureprint, District Photo, RRD and Duggal Visual Solutions  of the US, Jinan Double 100 Photo of China and Kerala, India based Suvi Color Lab.
