Digitally printable textile specialist Bergertextiles has introduced several new products, including material made from recycled PET bottles.

Be.tex Green Samba FR and Be.tex Green Valuetex FR are ‘eco-friendly fabrics’, made from recycled PET bottles.

Blackout applications are supported with Be.tex Blackback Zebra FR and be.tex Whiteback Zebra FR, suitable for sublimation printing. Available in 3.2m rolls, they are said to shrink less, offer greater scratch resistance and to offer a sheerer white.

Be.tex Latfinity FR is a fabric for  latex printing which has been developed to avoid performance issues with latex coatings used in lightbox graphics in terms of scratch-resistance properties. It’s claimed to enable dense blacks with no ‘gleam’ tp be printed.

Be.tex Samba Twin FR is a larger version of the company’s original Samba FR, offering the same properties as the existing product but in 5m widths.

The new products were previewed at the recent Fespa show in Munich and, according to CEO Daniel Liba, were very well received.

‘Be.tex green Samba FR and Be.tex green Valuetex FR deliver the same end-quality as our other textiles, but the fact that they use recycled materials makes them a positive alternative for more environmentally conscious print service providers and their customers as well as retailers,’ he said.
