Baumann Wohlenberg will be showcasing some of its latest automation solutions at an open house in May.

The ‘Experience Together’ event will be held at the company’s headquarters in Solm, Germany, where the host will be joined by partners from across the globe from all aspects of the print process.

Attendees will get to see demonstrations of the automatic jogging system Basa, the Bass cutting system and Baumann Wohlenberg’s new high speed cutter, the WB 80. This machine is equipped with a Wohlenberg control unit and is equipped with a ‘straight to cut’ option by means of a barcode reader directly from the pre-press file.

Other companies will be involved in the open day, with MBO, Cavok, Aepos, Keyline, Hohner and Xerox Iridesse all showcasing equipment. Bograma will be bringing its BRS basic short run die-cutter, which will be connected to the aforementioned Basa jogging system and producing three different products; presentation folders, folded boxes and labels.

Friedheim International will be taking a range of UK customers to visit the event to see some of the launches and demonstrations from its manufacturers.
