The HP Indigo 7900 gives Four Create Print the capability to produce small format work in-house

Four Create Print has installed an HP Indigo 7900, which will run alongside its large format inkjet machines at its Warwick factory.

Part of the Swanline Group, this is the first Indigo purchased by the company; Swanline was the UK’s first company to have the HP FB11000 installed five years ago, and more recently a Latex 3200 wide-format printer.

The new Indigo gives the company the capability to produce small format work in-house.

‘We want our customers to think of us as a “one-stop-shop”. Nowadays more and more customers want to deal with one supplier, so being able to buy large and small format print from us is strategically important,’ said managing director  Matt Ward.

‘Purchasing the Indigo was all about ensuring we have the capability to offer our customers the service and products they are asking for,’ Mr Ward added. ‘It delivers the quality and has the name that holds a lot of prestige in the market. We have found that even with the SRA3 format we can take on jobs that would traditionally be B2 litho work.’

To go with the press, the company has also installed a guillotine, die cutter and creaser; a laminator and booklet maker will follow. The printer plans to exploit the capabilities of the Indigo with new substrates to offer customers a greater choice of materials.
