Watkiss Automation Sales Ltd has been appointed UK distributor for the Tauler range of thermal laminators, adding to its existing portfolio of collators, booklet makers, perfect binders and guillotines.
The Spanish company Tauler is a family business that has specialised in the design and manufacture of laminating machinery for over 40 years, during which time over 3000 machines have been installed.

The Tauler range includes manual feed and fully automatic models. The PrintLamSmartand theSmartMaticare 52 cm sheet-to-sheet thermal laminating machines that are extremely compact and designed for use by a single operator. They operate at up to 15 m/min and 20 m per min respectively, and are intended for medium and small run applications in copy shops, inplant print departments, digital and offset printers. They feature an oil filled heating cylinder which provides low maintenance and better heat retention, which is important for providing consistent quality. A de-curling system to ensure flat sheets and an automatic sheet separation system are standard features.
For larger formats, or for longer run lengths, the Tauler range also includes models suited to high volume applications. The CTI and CTIS are available in 52 m and 75 cm widths.
