A new deal has been made to refresh the fleet of cut sheet digital printers at CFH’s Radstock and Livingston sites with Xerox.

The deal significantly increases the firm’s cut sheet capacity and post print capability, representing an investment in the region of £1.4 million.

Digital mono printing capability will be enhanced at the Radstock site with the arrival of two new Nuvera 314 EA Perfecting Production Systems with Integrated PLUS Finishing Solution for personalised  booklet manufacture. Additionally a new Nuvera 144MX MICR enabled engine to improve the quality and performance of cut sheet cheque fulfilment will be installed.

The digital colour fleet has grown with the addition of an iGen 150 XXL with Integrated PLUS Finishing Solution. The iGen 150 increases digital colour capacity to cope with the increased requirement for full colour personalised booklets and ever increasing Docmail volumes. All iGen engines will be configured with the latest matt dry ink to give an appearance close to conventional offset printing.

By choosing the Integrated PLUS Finishing Solution for personalised booklet manufacture the company is in a position to produce personalised mono or full colour booklets inline or offline. This provides maximum flexibility to produce inline and reduce lead-times or offline to utilise additional printers and increase booklet making capacity.

The site at Livingston site will see the arrival of Nuvera 288 EA Perfecting Production Systems for high productivity Mono Digital printing, iGen4 for increased Digital Colour capacity and a DP4635MX MICR printer for cut sheet cheque fulfilment.

This provides synergy between the Radstock and Livingston sites, will enable the company to commence Docmail production in Scotland and offer customers a full business continuity and disaster recovery solution.
