Argos Solutions’ L380 UV Coater
Argos Solutions, a specialist manufacturer of high quality cold cure UV coating equipment, will be at Ipex to showcase its new inline UV coating solution.
Running with the Konica Minolta HC70 print engine and Direct Smile software the solution will be producing a personalised inline UV coated and perforated postcard application live for visitors to see.
In addition the company will also be demonstrating its new Digital Dynamic UV varnish system complete with variable data front end, all produced at its manufacturing facility in Belgium.
Andrew James, sales manager, said, ‘Our UV coating machines are ‘cold cure’ so not affected by the issues that affect other machines in the market where the printed medium is subjected to high temperatures to cure the coating. We also offer a sheet turner unit enabling fully automatic duplex coating production with feeders and stackers for a full production solution. Our new innovative UV selective coating solution will be shown for the first time at Ipex 2014. We also rightly claim minimal odours into the surrounding air and reduced power consumption.’
