The Rho 312R

The Delta Group, visual communications specialist, has purchased a Durst Rho 312R and a Rhotex 322 significantly increasing speed to market for clients.

The new machinery marks an important development for the group, via enhanced capabilities and the provision of new in-house fabric printing services.

The Rho 312R is a productive 3.2 metre roll to roll printer, delivering image quality up to 900 dpi. Its arrival means a 25% increase in roll to roll capacity at Delta, significantly increasing speed to market for clients. The Rhotex 322, a soft signage printer, will enable the group to respond to ever rising demands for digitally printed textile promotional material, currently up 50% on last year

The installation of these machines brings the total number of machines owned by the business to 89, with a 50% split between print and finishing.

Mike Phillips, CEO, said, ‘As the market keeps evolving and needs continue changing, we find innovative ways to set ourselves apart. This latest investment in our print infrastructure enables us to offer existing clients and potential partners an unrivalled level of in-house production capability. We anticipate that at least 50% of our client base will benefit from the investment. It also opens up fresh commercial opportunities within the soft signage market; an important step in enabling us to strengthen our position as the supply partner of choice for the retail, brand and entertainment markets.’
