The Roland RT-640 dye-sublimation printer, designed for sports equipment, athletic clothing and fashion apparel will be available to Quality Print Services’ customers from April 2015.

Designed for sports equipment, athletic clothing, fashion apparel, interior decor and soft signage, the Roland RT-640 features optimised print control technology, front and rear media feed adjusters for even tensioning and a vacuum fan for transfer paper flatness, to achieve sharp image quality and fine detail.

In addition to a dual ink supply system for unattended continuous printing, the Roland RT-640 can reach maximum print speeds of 32.6 sqm/hr and production quality print speeds of 22 sqm/hr, bringing greater efficiency to textile printrooms.

‘The Roland RT-640 sublimation printer is an ideal machine for graphics companies or existing textile print houses to expand their product offering,’ said Chris Bailey, managing director. ‘As it is engineered for sportswear graphics, end users can be sure of achieving sharp, durable prints on whatever they choose to produce.

‘Our team of UK-based specialists will also be on hand to provide assistance to new RT-640 users to ensure they get the most from their printer.’

The Roland RT-640 comes with a choice of RIP software – either the Roland VersaWorks to simplify operation or the ErgoSoft Roland Edition, designed specifically for textile printing – plus a one-year RolandCare Silver Warranty
