Infigo Software is seeking public support after entering Pitch to Rich, a competition to win funding from one of Britain’s top entrepreneurs Sir Richard Branson.

The Virgin boss will invest £1 million in businesses in three categories, with web to print and cross media marketing software creators Infigo entering the race in the grow category for established businesses looking to expand.

The top prize in this category is a £250,000 marketing campaign, with two runners-up receiving a £100,000 campaign. The initial public vote closes on 5 May.

The company wants to use the investment to increase its successful UK operations and to expand to America and Canada, where they have already had significant interest from North America, where the company recently secured a deal with Signature Print-IT, a leading print company in the region.

Douglas Gibson, managing director, said, ‘Dozens of companies in the UK have seen our web-to-print software make a real difference to their business, either enhancing their growing digital operations or enabling them to start a digital arm.

‘Interest from abroad demonstrates there is nothing like it on the market – and that’s the sort of feedback we got from our trips to North America. We also have a contract with a print company in Australia which demonstrates the worldwide potential for our products.

‘We believe we are bringing companies something different which can help our clients make money. They serve a wide range of industries from packaging to photography.’
