Target Print has invested in a Linoprint CV digital press and a Wohlenberg with a Polar guillotine giving the company a wider range of stocks to offer customers.

Director Neil Shaw, said, ‘We have been reviewing digital technology for a couple of years, having decided we would only invest in a machine that offered us something extra.’

‘The Linoprint CV will handle a much wider range of stocks, including duplex on heavier grammages, and the banner feeder will open up a new market to us alongside the short run jobs we currently run. We bought our first Heidelberg press in 1982 and having had a relationship with Heidelberg for over 30 years we feel confidence in their continued support for this new installation.’

Target Print’s Linoprint CV is an 80 ppm press and with the 700 mm banner attachment it will be able to produce landscape A4 products.

The Polar N 78 ECO guillotine will run across both litho and digital work. The company likes the robustness and reputation of the Polar and the fact that the backgauge is driven from the middle rather than the side of the cutting bed.
