Berforts Information Press has invested in a Konica Minolta bizhub Press C1100 as part of an investment strategy designed to support the firm’s plans for growth.
This latest purchase will help to boost the company’s production capacity and extend the range of services it currently offers, a strategy that will see the business increase its growth over the next few years.
The firm considered other digital presses on the market but made the decision to invest in the bizhub Press C1100 which offers 1200 x 3600 dpi equivalent quality.
The unit is alsospecified with an EFI IC-310 ULTRA RIP server and was provided on a fully inclusive service agreement with advanced operator and advanced colour RIP training to keep uptime to a maximum.
The new device delivers higher quality output and offers increased media handling to 350gsm duplex. The ultra EFI RIP server rips jobs faster than the old system, speeding up file submission and increasing productivity. The use of hot folders and auto pre-flighting means spending less physical time with job files, reducing errors in workflow, ultimately increasing profit and delivering on the company’s growth objectives.
Managing director Gerald White, said, ‘We have had a long-term relationship with Konica Minolta and with our other investments in bindery and new Komori H-UV press, these additions will all help us to meet our customers’ expectations.’
