Sabur Digital has received its first order for the new Roland Txart XT-640 sublimation transfer printer just moments after its UK launch.

The customer, a leading sportswear manufacturer, did not want to release its name, however, the printer was purchased to run alongside existing Roland Xj-640s enabling the company to fulfil a greater capacity of orders.

The 64″ dye sublimation transfer printer has a maximum print speed of 63 sqm/h and works in combination with the Texart Ink which is available in either 2xCMYK or 1xCMYKLcLmOrVi (Orange and Violet) configurations, supplied in 1 litre foil pouches – making it ideal for high-production, fast working environments.

Also included is an integrated post heater, media take-up system and the feature rich Ergosoft Roland Edition RIP software with inbuilt functions such as Step & Repeat, Production Cost Calculator, Shrinkage correction and Colour Replacement.

‘We were delighted to hear of Roland DG’s latest dye sublimation printer being launched this morning. The Texart XT-640 perfectly fits a gap in the market for many of our expanding and existing high volume production customer’s demands, providing high speed production without sacrificing quality results and vibrant colour.’ said Dean Sanger, managing director of Sabur Digital.

Mr Sanger continued, ‘The great features that are included in this package make this a real go-to product for anyone who is serious about sublimation production, or looking to grow from the entry-level Texart RT-640. It will be a great addition to our showroom alongside the range of sublimation and Eco-Solvent printers in what we’re proud to call the largest Roland DG display area in the North.’
