The 3.2 m wide Durst Rhotex 322

To meet demand for brighter brand colours Macro Art has invested in the UK’s first eight-colour Durst Rhotex 322 dye sublimation machine.

The company which specialises in larger projects, such as cover work for Farnborough and Paris air shows, and dye sublimated textiles, already has a Durst Rho 512R.

The new machine ‘has enabled us to deal extremely quickly with the demands from customers in what is a very reactive industry,’ explained Michael Green, commercial director. ‘The eight-colour option gives us a much wider colour gamut, particularly for reds and oranges,’ he added.

Macro Art’s investment in a second Durst system will ‘continue to help them further to diversify and expand into new markets,’ commented Peter Bray, Durst UK’s managing director.
