The floor graphic at City Hall showing pollution levels in London

Using its EFI VUTEk GS3250LX Pro LED hybrid printer, MX Display produced a temporary large format floor graphic for City Hall, London, as part of an environmental initiative to demonstrate air quality in the capital.

City Hall contacted the company to print and install a large Photo Floor graphic – a 10 m x 15 m map showing pollution levels in London – to promote Mayor of London Sadiq Khahn’s aim to cut toxic air at 50 of the most polluted schools in the area.

The 150 sqm floor graphic, made from an anti-slip temporary flooring product, was installed in half a day using adhesive to ensure the marble floor underneath was left in perfect condition after the one day event.

Kate Findlay, air quality secondee at Greater London Authority was pleased with the flooring: ‘The event went well and everyone was very impressed with the map – including the Mayor,’ she commented.
