Print quality and workflow experience will be enhanced by the collaboration

A collaboration between Kornit Digital and Colorgate Digital Output Solutions will soon offer a complete direct-to-garment workflow solution to improve print quality while making the process easier and more efficient.

Colorgate’s Textile Production Server (TPS) will be tailored to the Kornit settings and subsequently added to the Kornit offering. Technical support and training will be delivered by Kornit, with the Colorgate support available at the back end. The complete solution will be available in the fourth quarter of this year.

Software developer Colorgate was researching how to further expand into the direct-to-garment market and simultaneously, Kornit Digital was seeking a technical partnership to optimise its RIP offering.

‘Kornit Digital knows direct-to-garment and we know RIP,’ explained Thomas Kirschner, owner of Colorgate. ‘The combination of our fortes will provide both our customers with the perfect high-end direct-to-garment print solutions they were craving.’

‘When researching the market for RIP solutions, we quickly discovered Colorgate made the perfect fit,’ said Omer Kulka, Kornit Digital’s vice-president of marketing and product strategy. ‘The solutions match completely and the company is a leading-class vendor. Together, we can both strengthen our offering and truly establish a full and diverse eco-system for the complete solutions to both customer bases. It’s a win-win on all fronts.’
