Leeds-based Cyanx has become a UK and European distributor for the Trimatt Systems range of finishing systems.

An Australian manufacturer of modular equipment, Trimatt Systems offers a complete solution – the CardLine, which can be supplied in standard configurations, or can be supplied to meet a bespoke requirement. The CardLine system will glue a card to a carrier – often a mailer, package or point of sale card, and add a level of personalisation, whether text, graphics or barcodes, using an inkjet system. Verification is assured via inline cameras and a proprietary “ValidForm” software system.

Trimatt ‘glue and attach’ modules can be fitted in-line with a range of folder gluers, stitchers, binders and mailroom equipment. The company also produces feeders and ‘driven discharge’ transport systems which can be integrated with a wide range of finishing lines.

A principal market for Trimatt equipment is companies producing personalised plastic cards – such as membership cards, loyalty cards, ID cards and SIM cards packing and fulfilment, with Vodafone, 3 Mobile and Lebara all using Trimatt to satisfy packing automation and reduce labour and material costs.

‘The capital equipment side of Cyanx is all about providing niche products to an increasingly specialised industry, whether it is our unique eco-seal coating application, retrofit LED UV or foiling equipment, ink supply systems and more,’ said Cyanx managing director Richard Mawson. ‘Trimatt are a good fit for us, we have several enquiries and have some orders in production for delivery at the end of the year.’
