IJ180mC-10LSE has been specially designed for challenging surfaces such as motocross bikes

3M has expanded its premium range of IJ180mC print wrap films with three new variants.

The three new printable films have been specially designed to adhere to hard-to-bond surfaces including Low Surface Energy (LSE) plastic, powder coat paints and stainless steel.

The first of the trio, IJ180mC-10LSE, has been specially designed for applying customised vehicle graphics wraps to challenging surfaces such as those commonly found on motocross bikes, snowmobile and ATVs (all terrain vehicles).

Formulated to adhere to stainless steel applications, IJ180mC-10SLS provides a new medium for graphics installers to complete potentially difficult installations and customisation projects. It is also suitable for applying promotional graphics to vehicles including tankers, caravans, horse trailers, refrigerated and food trucks.

IJ180mC-10UR is an “ultra-removable” print wrap film intended for short-term vehicle graphics where a fast and easy installation, and clean, simple removal without heat or chemicals is required. Applications include commercial vehicles and fleet graphics and buses, as well as general indoor and outdoor signage.

The new films are all 3D conformable for applying to compound curved surfaces, rivets and corrugations. They also feature Comply Adhesive, which enables the installer to move the film across the underlying surface and reposition until the correct placement is achieved.
