Elementary: users can get instant pricing for their W2P product slections

Web-to-print developer Vpress has introduced a “bolt-on” module that adds an instant pricing capability to its established template-based Coreprint software.

Aimed at making life easier for print buyers, who increasingly expect immediate pricing in other online aspects of their lives, Elements can have pricing information added independently or can be linked to conventional or cloud-based MIS installations. Integration with customer relationship management (CRM) and ERP systems is also possible and the software is structured to preserve the printer’s margins. Vpress will assist clients with the necessary setup and has already signed a large contract in which the availability of Elements was an important factor.

Elements supports both business-to-business and business-to-consumer sales, and is expected to appeal particularly to printers serving the latter audience which typically buys on price. It can also support the sale of non-print items including office supplies, branded merchandise and even maintenance appointments.

Vpress is also participating in an open house event at Precision Printing’s recently-opened facility in Dagenham, Essex, on 25 January. Visitors will be able to see “state of the art equipment and automation” at the 55,000sqft site, with a focus on supporting print buyers. Places are limited, please register here.
