KAS Paper Systems will be demonstrating its Mailmaster Compact envelope inserter

Apex Digital Graphics and Intelligent Finishing Systems (IFS) will once again be hosting the Real Print and Finish Open House event on 17-19 April at Apex’s premises in Hemel Hempstead. This is the fourth such event which has run successfully each year since 2015.

Visitors can see an impressive array of equipment including an SRA1 RMGT (Ryobi) press with live demonstrations of LED-UV drying during the event.

Also featured will be newly-launched CtP systems from Cron in various configurations, and digital printing equipment from Konica Minolta, plus full workflow solutions.

IFS will be showing a huge range of equipment from Horizon, including two new machines first shown at Ipex 2017, the Stitchliner Mark III saddlestitching line, and the BQ-480 perfect binder. IFS is also showing the newly-arrived HT-1000V variable three-knife trimmer which can be used both inline with Horizon perfect binders or as a standalone machine. The line-up will also include Foliant laminators with foiling capability.

IFS managing director Bryan Godwyn said, ‘We are looking forward to another collaboration with our neighbours Apex, taking advantage of our proximity and the synergy between the two companies. The event has a hands-on no-nonsense approach combined with a relaxed environment which visitors tell us they appreciate.’

Mailing specialist, KAS Paper Systems, will be demonstrating its Mailmaster mailing solutions, including the KAS Mailmaster Compact envelope inserter.

With its compact footprint, the Mailmaster Compact is a cost effective 5000 DL to C4 envelopes per hour production machine. It is constructed to handle large volumes but also designed for easy set up and quick changeover from one job to another, making it equally suitable for short run work.

More partners are expected to announce their participation in the coming weeks. Already confirmed are paper supplier Premier and the IPIA who will offer free consultations with business experts via pre-booked appointments.
