The CMS range enables a broad variety of materials to be cut, creased and milled

Lasercomb has introduced a new range of digital cutters to produce samples and small series production for digitally-printed packaging and signage.

Distributed in the UK by Friedheim International, the CMS range enables a broad variety of materials to be cut, creased and milled, allowing customers to work with all kinds of solid and corrugated carton. The multifunctional units integrate into the customer’s network, allowing for remote support.

A camera system allows the user to register print marks that can be further processed by OptiScout digital finishing software which gives a precise contour cut with or without camera-controlled orientation. A materials database contains thickness, tool and cutting parameters to set up repeat jobs.

Roger Cartwright, sales manager for Converting Solutions at Friedheim said, ‘We are delighted at this new development from Lasercomb which will serve to strengthen the already comprehensive range of cutting tables available from them. We can now approach the market with a superior range of machines with the versatility of offering the right model for whatever level of complexity is required.’

The CMS range comes in sizes from 1600 x 1300 to 3100 x 2500mm.
