Pascale Wautelet has been appointed global vice president, R&D

The Label and Graphic Materials group of Avery Dennison Corporation has appointed Pascale Wautelet as the global vice president of Research and Development, effective immediately.

Ms Wautelet succeeds Hassan H. Rmaile, who was promoted earlier in the year as vice president and general manager for Global Graphics and Reflective Solutions and vice president, Global Technology and Ventures for Avery Dennison.

As global VP for R&D, Ms Wautelet will lead Label and Graphic Materials’s global R&D network, and oversee the company’s seven regional R&D centers and teams.

Ms Wautelet joined Avery Dennison in July 2017 as vice president, Label and Graphic Materials for Europe, Middle East and Africa. She has more than 20 years of domestic and international experience across multiple functions in the chemical/petrochemical/plastic industry, including flexible packaging and labelling.

Prior to joining Avery Dennison, she was global technology director at Jindal Films, overseeing corporate innovation and research and development across Europe and North America.

‘Pascale brings a strong track record of global R&D leadership and proven success in the commercialisation of new technologies and products while enhancing overall profitability for the business,’ said Georges Gravanis, president, Avery Dennison Label and Graphic Materials.
