Girls Who Print has released its 2026 Industry Insights Report, examining the experiences, priorities and perspectives of women working across the global print and graphic communications industry.

The report draws on 210 responses to the 2025-2026 Girls Who Print Survey, alongside recurring themes identified across 242 applications to the organisation’s Mentorship Program.

From this research, Girls Who Print has identified ten industry insights covering areas including mentorship, technology, leadership, entrepreneurship, workforce development and career advancement.

Among the findings, the organisation says mentorship is increasingly being viewed as a strategic tool for retaining talent, while technology fluency is becoming a differentiator for those moving into leadership positions.

The research also points to the importance of providing clearer career pathways to attract new people into print and graphic communications. Meanwhile, more women responding to the research reported building businesses and pursuing entrepreneurial opportunities.

“Women across the industry shared their experiences, perspectives, and priorities,” said Deborah Corn, executive director of Girls Who Print. “The insights revealed in this report will help shape Girls Who Print programs, resources, and initiatives that address the needs identified across our global network while also providing valuable perspective for the industry.”

The report is intended to provide a resource for employers, educators, associations, business leaders and other industry professionals working in areas such as recruitment, retention, leadership and workforce development.
