Data Direct Thames Valley has expanded its Bradford showroom, which is now fully equipped to offer live demonstrations of the latest wide-format and specialist print technologies from Mutoh and Rowe. The move is intended to give resellers hands-on access to new hardware and a clearer view of how emerging print and scan technologies can be applied in commercial environments.
At the centre of the installation is the Mutoh HA-1642, which is now available for live demonstrations at the site. The system uses water-based UV inks, combining elements typically associated with aqueous printing with the durability and versatility of UV curing. According to Data Direct, this opens up opportunities across a range of applications including graphics, signage, décor, and specialist print work. The installation represents the first opportunity for many UK resellers to see the technology operating in a live production setting.
The Bradford showroom also features the Mutoh XpertJet 661UF, a compact UV LED flatbed printer designed for short-run and specialist applications. With a relatively small footprint and broad media compatibility, the system is positioned as an option for both entry-level users and more established print businesses looking to add personalisation, promotional items or packaging prototypes to their offering.
In addition to print technology, the demonstration environment includes a range of Rowe wide-format scanners. These systems are designed for high-speed, high-accuracy document capture and are aimed at CAD, GIS, AE,C and technical reprographics applications. Displaying both print and scan solutions in one space allows visitors to explore complete wide-format workflows rather than individual devices in isolation.
“Our Bradford showroom is designed to be a practical, hands-on environment where dealers can see real output, ask real questions, and explore real opportunities,” said Caroline Savage, UK wide format manager for Data Direct. “By bringing together Mutoh’s latest print innovations with Rowe’s market-leading scanning solutions, we’re giving our partners the confidence and insight they need to grow their wide-format business.”
Demonstrations at the Bradford facility are available by appointment, with Data Direct inviting resellers from across the UK to visit, view live production, and discuss applications, commercial models, and support options.
