GD Print has invested in two new Konica Minolta digital production presses to expand its capabilities and increase automation at its New Milton site in Hampshire.

The commercial print specialist has installed an AccurioPress C14010s and an AccurioPress C7090 Enhanced, both fitted with TU510e inline trimming units. The investment was finalised on Konica Minolta’s stand at The Print Show 2025 in Birmingham.

Craig Dobbs, managing director of GD Print, said: “We are thrilled to announce our investment in the new AccurioPress C14010s and AccurioPress C7090 Enhanced, which will become the cornerstone of our printing operations. While we bid farewell to our trusted Konica Minolta C14000e press, this upgrade brings a significant boost in quality, enhanced automation, and unmatched flexibility – key elements to support our business as it continues to grow and evolve.”

The AccurioPress C14010s runs at 140ppm and offers fifth colour capability on sheets up to 1300mm long and 450gsm in thickness. The C7090 ENHANCED delivers up to 90ppm, handling media up to 900mm and 400gsm, including textured and embossed stocks.

Both devices will be used to produce a wide range of applications, including credit card welcome packs, booklets and orders of service.

Malcolm Smith, category manager for professional print at Konica Minolta Business Solutions, commented: “GD Print is taking a significant step towards greater automation and even more flexible print operations by investing in these presses. There are huge opportunities for print businesses that can deliver the right products exactly when they are needed, and Craig and team are showing exactly how this can be achieved.”
