Two members of Pyramid Display Materials’ hardware sales team have become fully qualified HP Latex installation engineers. The certification follows the successful completion of an intensive training programme at HP’s headquarters in Barcelona.
Carl Birchall and Cole Appleby completed the five-day course, which covered key technical competencies required to support HP’s Latex roll-fed printers. These included mechanical and electronic system setup, printhead calibration and maintenance, media handling for optimal quality, firmware diagnostics and updates, and adherence to HP’s safety and environmental standards.
Pyramid Display Materials, a UK supplier of large-format print solutions, says the newly acquired certifications reflect its ongoing investment in customer service and technical support. The qualification enables Carl and Cole to carry out full installation, commissioning, and after-sales support for HP Latex systems throughout the UK.
