Ball & Doggett has announced a new strategic partnership with manufacturer of cutting systems Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems (PCS). The move strengthens its digital cutting and finishing portfolio for the Australian print, packaging and signage industries.

Under the agreement, Ball & Doggett will distribute Kongsberg PCS’s range of digital cutting systems across Australia, with trained engineers on hand to provide service support and demonstrations at selected showrooms. The move complements Ball & Doggett’s existing finishing equipment offering and aligns with its focus on delivering end-to-end solutions to customers.

Rob Brussolo, general manager sign, display and digital at Ball & Doggett, said: “We are excited to welcome Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems into our expanding digital finishing portfolio. This partnership ensures we can support our customers with cutting-edge solutions that match the demands of modern production workflows.”

Kongsberg PCS’s systems are known for speed, precision and modularity, offering reliable performance across packaging, display and signage applications, said the company. To support the rollout, Ball & Doggett is investing in its technical and application services team, with new hires across South Australia, New South Wales, and Queensland aimed at bolstering service and training capabilities.

David Preskett, VP EMEA and APAC, Kongsberg PCS, said: “We’re looking forward to partnering with Ball & Doggett, a company that shares our commitment to innovation, quality, and customer-centric service. Working together, we can further support Australian print and packaging businesses to enhance their finishing capabilities, expand production possibilities, and unlock new growth opportunities with world-class digital cutting solutions.”
