Canon will unveil its latest wide format printing solutions at this year’s Fespa event in Berlin. Under the theme ‘The Power to Move’, the company will highlight developments across its Arizona, Colorado, and ImagePrograf printer ranges, as well as its Prisma XL Suite and partner platforms.
The Canon stand will present real-world applications in retail, interior décor, point of sale and promotional packaging. A featured case study from Norwegian florist Fiori will demonstrate the value of collaborative print solutions in interior décor. Visitors will also see elements from Canon’s ‘World Unseen’ exhibition, designed to make photography accessible to blind and partially sighted audiences.
Live demonstrations will showcase the Arizona 2380 GTF flatbed printer with FLXflow technology, which allows easy switching between media handling modes. The PrismaElevate XL tool will also be demonstrated, showing how up to 4mm thick textured print layers can be created, including braille applications.
The ImagePrograf GP-6600S will represent Canon’s water-based inkjet line, producing vivid, Pantone-calibrated graphics using seven-colour Lucia Pro II inks, including orange. Canon’s PosterArtist software will be shown as a simple solution for creating eye-catching printed materials.
Canon will also highlight integrated workflow solutions featuring software from Erpa, Skyco, Symphony, OneVision and Onyx, illustrating the end-to-end process from online ordering to final print and shipment. The stand will include a range of media options, including sustainably sourced papers.
