A selection of the prizes on offer
One of the printing industry’s biggest prize draw competitions, has been won by Essex-based Kestrel Printing Ltd, which won a Konica Minolta bizhub PRO C6000L.
A total of 57 print businesses from all over the UK have benefitted from this campaign, which saw £100,000 worth of prizes up for grabs, with companies ranging from Fife in Scotland, Carmarthenshire in Wales, to Kent and Devon in the South of England of which all have shared in a host of digital related prizes.
The winner, which offers a full range of printing services, was informed of the good news that they had won from representatives of Antalis and Konica Minolta, the two companies behind the competition.
John Galley, managing director, said, ‘We were totally taken aback, but absolutely delighted as you can imagine. It’s not every day that you are given such a fantastic piece of digital printing equipment. I’d like to express my thanks to both Antalis and Konica Minolta for giving us this tremendous opportunity to expand our digital service offering and attract further new business, especially with t he onset of our new on line ordering website going live.’
Sharing a commitment to promoting the benefits of digital print, the two companies joined forces in January this year to launch the ‘Digital Future’ prize draw. Both companies recognised that in a challenging market, where overall print volumes are witnessing a decline, commercial printers needed support to grow and develop their businesses.
Marian Thomasson, marketing communications manager for Antalis UK said, ‘We recognise the transition that the industry is having to make as digital technology continues to affect all our lives. And yet, with these changes come some exciting new opportunities for our customers.’
Adding his commitment to the campaign, Malcolm Glynn, head of marketing from Konica Minolta added, ‘Accepting that the industry is in a transition phase is fine, but acting on it and helping to shape its future is even better. We recognise that often commercial printers have most of the tools to be successful, ‘the what’, but often it’s ‘the how’ element that requires assistance. Working with Antalis on the ‘Digital Future’ promotion and constantly improving our Digital 1234 programme has really enabled Konica Minolta to take a leading yet supportive role in the industry, hopefully adding to its success and longevity. Many congratulations to Kestrel Printing Ltd on their fantastic new addition.’
